RECREATING Jérôme Masi
I recently took on the task of recreating Jerome Masi's website as part of my master's assignment in interaction design. While the original site was already well-designed, I saw an opportunity to give it a fresh perspective by adding subtle animations to Masi's static illustrations, breathing life into his artwork. I also focused on simplifying the website’s layout to enhance user experience, making it more intuitive and enjoyable to navigate. This project allowed me to blend creativity with functionality, demonstrating my dedication to creating immersive digital experiences.
LEARNING PLATFORM - AMMA
For my master’s final project, I created a learning platform aimed at preserving and facilitating the transgenerational exchange of artisanal skills in India. This platform, the result of six months of dedicated research, is carefully designed to meet the needs of both older artisans and the younger generation eager to carry forward these traditional crafts. Inspired by the vibrant aesthetics and essence of India’s handicrafts markets, the platform blends heritage with technology to create an engaging space where skills and stories can be shared, celebrated, and sustained for future generations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPLORATION
I designed a website to present my final report in a way that reflects my ambition to become a web designer. The project encouraged us to explore professional opportunities, assess our emerging professional identity, and conduct research on creative companies, freelancers, and mentors. By choosing to present this report as a web page, I was able to showcase my design skills in an interactive format, aligning the assignment with my personal career aspirations in the web design field.
THIRSTY ROOTS
This hypothetical plant-watering service website showcases my design skills, focusing on a clean, user-friendly interface with nature-inspired visuals. The site features tiered pricing, customizable care options, and a seamless booking process. Engaging illustrations and bold typography create a professional yet approachable feel, highlighting my ability to blend functionality with aesthetics.
